Solidworks Design Precision Machining Fabrication CNC and PLC Machine maintenance This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the eastern suburbs; this well-established company has a strong, stable history in various high-tech industries. They design & manufacture components and tooling and use the latest technology. We seek an engineer or tradesperson who can plan, direct, and coordinate the design, construction, modification, continued performance, and equipment maintenance. You will program, set up, and change over the weld4me robotic weld cell and robotic plasma cutting cell. You will also problem-solve, modify, and update robot welding programmes to support ongoing and new production. You will also get involved in the following; Design jigs and fixtures to support welding and assembly. Liaise with contractors and suppliers for repair and maintenance activities. Manage preventative maintenance of equipment. Assist production with process improvement. Use SolidWorks to model and create shop floor drawings for production support. Support production with shop floor documentation. Support sales/engineering with product design for ease of shop floor manufacturing. TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: Engineering Degree or Trade qualified in relevant discipline. Robot programming Working knowledge of PLC's SolidWorks competent Understanding of welding processes (Mig/Tig) Able to troubleshoot basic pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical faults. Existing knowledge of turret punch programming or ability to learn. Existing knowledge of laser cutting programming or ability to learn.
