And that’s ok, that works for us too. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer for a permanent position to work remote from anywhere in Australia. You’ll join an experienced Operations team of nine, who are based either remote or in Hobart, Tasmania. If you can fly down from time to time to interact with the team that’s great. Maybe you fancy a cheeky weekend exploring the Island? The scenery is stunning, and the food is seriously impressive, think cheeses, donuts, berries, craft beers…but maybe not in that order. After all, it’s been a while since you’ve had a holiday. You’ll work on a variety of projects to help this company mature to Azure. You’re not afraid to speak up, we want someone who can make decisions, react fast and be flexible in a sometimes-ambiguous environment. We have a mix of AWS, but mainly Azure. You’ll have experience with Ansible and Puppet as well as Github. We want this team to be focussed on continuous improvement and best practice. There’s a real work/life balance here. Sure, you’ll be on call from time to time, but you won’t be expected to work more than your standard 9 – 5pm on normal weeks. This team is family focussed and enjoy a cheeky team catch up on a Friday afternoon. If you’ve had experience with Energy environments you’ll be on the top of our list, expect a call shortly.
