You will be joining a diverse team of highly qualified professionals, which include industry leaders in soil and groundwater remediation, contaminant fate and transport, geotechnical, geosynthetic and civil engineering services. Learn more by visiting www.geosyntec.com.au Proficient geologist with experience in the Australian marketplace. 3D modelling within the Leapfrog package, and leading the development of 3D ground models, and 3D data evaluations. Desktop geological, geotechnical and environmental analysis, interpretation of geological characteristics and risks, preparation of factual and technical interpretive reporting. Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties. Proficient GIS skills and experience within ArcGIS (or similar) for preparing maps and figures. Experienced in data management using ESdat, and/or other database software packages. Management and mentoring of junior staff in Leapfrog, ArcGIS and ESdat. Bachelor's degree in geology or engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred). (required) Advanced degree in the same. (preferred) At least 5 years (7 preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) Experience with Leapfrog, ArcGIS and ESdat. Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. Demonstrated success in teamwork. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines and budgets.
