Structural Engineer opportunity in Milton, mining and ports projects, with a focus on remedial design and asset inspections of concrete structures. Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with 4 years' experience in the mining, resources and maritime sector in Australia? TalentWeb is keen to discuss permanent, full-time roles with a civil and structural engineering consultancy for opportunities in Milton, Brisbane. You will be responsible for: Site investigation of dilapidated and existing mining, ports and bridge assets across regional Australia; Preparing forensic and remedial reports for asset owners and establishing a plan of action for the asset to continue operations into the future; Developing designs using Strand7 for the ongoing operation of the asset after consultation with the asset operator and owners; Travelling to remote sites in QLD, WA, SA, NT and NSW. The ideal candidate will have: 4-10 years' experience as a Structural Engineer in a similar role in mining and resources in Australia; Proficiency using Strand7 software; CPEng/RPEQ accreditation, or close to submission; The desire and ability to travel, on average, 3-7 days per month (fully paid for) This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a company that's been operating for over 35 years, who cover all travel expenses, including travel time, accommodation, meals, vehicle hire on site and all site hours.
