If you're passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and solve complex problems, then this is the role for you This role sits within the newly formed Commercial Lines (CL) & Distribution Data Insights Team in the UKGI function. We are looking for a curious, articulate, problem-solver who loves working with data to join us in our new Business Intelligence Engineering team. A bit about the job: As a new team we are looking for a Data Engineering consultant to help build and maintain data pipelines into the wider CL and Distribution Data Insights team. Identify gaps and quality issues in our data and to work collaboratively with our data providers and colleagues to deliver the correct data at the correct time. You will use your analytical skills to contribute to data strategy across the Commercial Lines & Distribution. You can expect to be involved in the following: Building and maintaining data pipelines into the CL and Distribution Data Insights team. Contribute to BI Engineering best practise across the team. Contribute and adhere to point to point reconciliation for the CL and Distribution data. Skills and experience we're looking for: Interest in technology, finance & problem solving. Scriptwriting experience essential with SQL, SAS or equivalent. Maintaining high coding standards, outstanding documentation & effective system testing. Experience in data pipeline engineering Effective stakeholder management with the ability to coordinate and support/deliver training Relevant similar industry experience required.
