Job Description What will a day in this role look like: As a Principal Engineer within the team, you will be in involved in managing and delivering local and national projects throughout the whole lifecycle – from front end strategy and planning, to detailed design and delivery. Assist in the delivery of projects, across a variety of market sectors, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, designers and drafters whilst collaborating across engineering disciplines and groups within AECOM. Utilise your extensive Civil Engineering experience to contribute to designs and delivery of projects across a variety of markets. Be responsible and accountable for the projects you are working on whilst operating in a client-facing position to enhance AECOM’s presence with existing and new clients. Ensure that quality assurance processes are followed and that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. Use and develop your project leadership/design management skills and be an influential member of the project team and office culture.
