We are seeking experienced Electrical maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems within our mining facilities. Work Location: We have opportunities based locally in Perth OR across Fortescue's Pilbara locations Roster: Monday to Friday - Perth-based OR 8D/6R or 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Headland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra Key Responsibilities Anticipate and proactively resolve potential electrical problems to maintain a zero-harm environment, utilizing technical solutions tailored to iron ore fixed plant operations Utilize advanced technology and green energy solutions to meet the demands of sustainable mining practices Implement data analysis, machine learning, and dashboards for predictive maintenance purposes Manage and execute small to medium-sized electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards Design and supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into mining equipment, optimizing performance and reliability Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within the fixed plant Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Previous experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an iron ore fixed plant maintenance environment Previous project management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and deliver successful projects on time and within budget. Expertise in conducting root cause analysis investigations to address electrical issues effectively Demonstrated competency in the use of SAP or similar maintenance management systems At Fortescue, our Values are important to us and we hope they are to you too.
