Production Engineer — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne

AA-2 Description We are currently seeking a Production Engineer within our Engineering team based in Dandenong South. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support services to our production floor operations, including engineering analysis, design, implementation, optimisation and validation activities associated with production equipment and systems. The type of activities you will be involved in include: Monitoring, testing and analysing new and existing production equipment and systems to identify risks and/or opportunities for improvement Generation and execution of equipment qualification protocols (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Packing Validation etc) to provide a high level of assurance that the design, installation and operation of equipment meets pharmaceutical regulatory requirements Assisting with the design and implementation of engineering solutions associated with continuous improvement initiatives (quality, safety, productivity, cost reduction, capability etc) Requirements This role is ideally suited to qualified candidates with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, or a new graduate with an Engineering background. Requirements include: Tertiary studies in a relevant Engineering specialisation Strong technical, diagnostic and problem-solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication, great attention to detail and sound document management skills A positive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to juggle competing deadlines and work under pressure Well-developed people skills and able to work effectively in a team Basic AutoCAD skills desirable (but not essential) Previous experience in a manufacturing environment highly regarded Work Level Skilled Job Type Permanent Salary Market Related EE Position No Location Melbourne
