An organisation in Melbourne is looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer - Contract until End of 2024 A large organisation in Melbourne is migrating its Oracle data warehouse to a new AWS/Snowflake platform, utilizing DBT and Terraform. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and optimize ETL/data objects with data modelers/analysts. Monitor and optimize Snowflake data platform performance. Ensure adherence to source code management and documentation practices. Contribute to team best practices and continuous improvement efforts. Skills and Experience Required: Data/Analytics Engineer experience with AWS/Snowflake. DBT experience. Proficiency in Snowflake features (Snowpipes, Streams, Tasks). Strong SQL and Python programming skills. Familiarity with Terraform IAC is advantageous. Cloud data migration experience preferred. Working knowledge of data management and warehousing concepts.
