OUR CLIENT Vivid Recruitment is working with a national consultancy, who are looking to further expand internationally, in its search for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer. An environmental forward-thinker, this organisation leads the way in engineering and design across a variety of sectors, including commercial, mission-critical, health, education and retail. Work with an already established dynamic team with a firm pipeline of work. THE ROLE You will be responsible for the following: Planning and carrying out professional engineering work that is discipline-specific, including writing specifications, general design work, and documentation, while coordinating with other disciplines, with minimal supervision. Supporting the project leaders. Providing excellent client service, internally and externally. Maintaining current working knowledge of applicable systems and procedures, technical standards, codes of practice, and design approaches. Be a problem-solver and use lateral thinking to assist the client or project team in solving issues. Be proactive in advocating improvements. ABOUT YOU You will have the following skills: At least 5-9 years local experience Permanent work rights in Australia Formal tertiary qualifications in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or a closely related engineering discipline.
