You will play a crucial role in accelerating, improving, and transforming our data management, analytics, AI/ML and delivery capabilities. Through your efforts, you'll assist our dedicated science staff in enhancing their data management systems, increasing departmental capabilities and maturity overall. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a deep commitment to ensuring the quality and compliance of our data products, guided by architectural and governance standards. This includes utilizing ETL/ELT processes and programming to facilitate both timely and reliable access to data, which is critical for actionable insights and driving AI/ML. By initiating and maintaining strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and client groups, you will promote the overall service integrity. This includes offering vital technical mentoring that builds internal capabilities and fosters a client-centric team culture that underpins our service commitment. Formal qualifications in Information Management, Information Technology or equivalent are not mandatory but highly regarded, as are certifications in Microsoft Azure technologies. Ideally you will be in Dutton Park however, consideration will be given to an alternate location subject to availability at DESI regional offices.
