OUR CLIENT Vivid Recruitment is working with a national consultancy, who are looking to further expand internationally, in its search for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer. An environmental forward-thinker, this organisation leads the way in engineering and design across a variety of sectors, including commercial, mission-critical, health, education and retail. Work with an already established dynamic team with a firm pipeline of work. THE ROLE You will be responsible for the following: Lead and manage fire protection engineering projects. Assess sites, evaluate risks, and analyse codes to detect potential fire dangers and create effective mitigation plans. Work together with contractors, architects, designers, and regulatory bodies to integrate fire safety measures into building drawings and construction plans. Mentor junior engineers. Act as the client's main point of contact, answering their questions, updating them on the project's status, and offering exceptional customer service. ABOUT YOU You will have the following skills: At least 5-9 years local experience Permanent work rights in Australia Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
