Review Traffic Management Plans, schemes and designs to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery. Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the design and construction of road infrastructure projects. Ensure all quality management procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of road projects to a high and consistent standard for both Transport and Main Roads and clients. Undertake tendering and estimating activities to support the effective development and delivery of road infrastructure projects. Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to transport infrastructure delivery activities. In managing projects, you will have the responsibility to plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff that would include encouraging teamwork and fostering a positive attitude toward the achievement of organisational objectives. The employee may be required to mentor and supervise the work of non-RPEQs. Mandatory qualifications and conditions Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role. A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for appointment to the position. A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence Construction Industry 'White Card' Requirements of the role Recognises and articulates how own work directly contributes to the organisation's vision and community outcomes.
