Senior Facilities Integrity Engineer - National — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a National Integrity Engineer to join our Engineering and Planning team in Melbourne, Vic, Brisbane, QLD or Perth WA on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Lead Facilities Integrity, you will play a key role in providing maintenance support and customer focussed reliability initiatives that drives operational excellence across APA facilities in transmission, renewables and power. This position has National responsibility to support the Facilities integrity team and work on improvements in the integrity engineering support provided. This includes Equipment strategy ownership and leading business improvements associated with uplifting integrity and compliance operation. Key Responsibilities Support the field teams and assist to instil the Asset Engineering and Facilities Team strategic vision Support the integrity team in decision making and uplifting strategic vision Assist Operations & Maintenance and Asset Management with operational integrity, compliance and reliability engineering support Develop quality relationships with a variety of key stakeholders Identify and deliver asset performance and continuous improvement process initiatives Establish & maintain integrity engineering procedures & processes Provide technical guidance to the Integrity team to achieve consistency, including procedures, calculations, drawings, reports, specifications. Your background Extensive experience in Integrity engineering in gas transmission (facilities), power generation or midstream assets Experience with NDT techniques in accordance with AS3998 is highly desirable Experience with IAPWS (International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam) is highly desirable Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical), NER, RPEQ/RPEV is highly desirable AICIP/CBIP qualifications highly desirable Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and best practices (AS3788, AS4041, AS1228, AS2885) Experience in Incident Management, Incident Reporting and Risk Assessments processes.
