We do this by designing, building and running security products across cyber, identity and fraud technology in order to fulfil our objectives: Improve velocity of security outcomes with great customer experiences. Innovate, digitise and disrupt the way we deliver security. Lead the way in secure cloud and control adoption. Assure safe, sound, and secure technology. Our Edge Security Technology squad builds, runs and enhances the edge security products and services that protect the CBA Group's internet facing websites, web applications, APIs and perimeter infrastructure from distributed denial of service, web application & API cyberattacks. See yourself in our team The Senior Cyber Engineer will be working with their chapter lead, squad lead and members to drive product roadmap initiatives, support and accelerate business unit engagements and contribute to operational enhancement and BAU activities. About you: Strong foundation in network and application layer technologies and concepts. Strong understanding of cyber risks, threats, attacks and controls. Experience working with Content Delivery Network (CDN), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) / Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot mitigation products and services, ideally Akamai, Cloudflair, Imperva or similar. Experience with and knowledge of scripting and automation tools like Github, Terraform, Python, CI/CD pipelines. Experience with and knowledge of devsecops and agile methodologies. Ability to and a keen interest in mentoring other engineers and providing thought leadership to uplift the team. Experience working within a complex environment and effectively managing diverse stakeholders. Strong verbal and oral communication. Proactive and self-driven.
