Continual improvement and providing a more efficient service delivery option through modernisation will see the Digital Licence expand to Whole of Government credentials. Using Prince2agile methodology the projects focus on an iterative development process, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration. As a Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer, you will work closely with the Technology Architecture, Security Governance Risk and Compliance and business representatives. Your primary responsibility will be a hand on role, working predominantly with but not limited to AWS cloud working with third parties and business stakeholders, to help identify and treat cyber risks and how defence in depth architecture will help mitigate risks of the Queensland Driver's Licence. Some of your responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain security tools, technologies, and systems to enhance the organization's ability to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats. Implement Agile practices for continuous security improvement and resilience in platform development. Lead remediation and improve security automation in the software CI/CD pipeline delivery process through but not limited to DAST, SAST, IAST, RASP Policy and Procedure as Code. Monitor, analyze and provide first level triage to security events identified by the SOC Managed Service Provider ensuring swift and effective resolution. Coordinate and undertake penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks as part of the offensive security program. Author and maintain documentation as required. Consult and offer expert guidance on technology and process selection to enhance the organization's security posture.
