You will draw on your comprehensive engineering experience to ensure appropriate governance and systems are developed, implemented and maintained in the Structures team as well as assisting the delivery of our functions and services to IMD. This role will involve leading the development of appropriate governance and quality assurance policies and processes. Drawing upon your engineering experience, you will also contribute to the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) and other funded delivery programs. You will demonstrate the ability to lead, strategically analyse and deliver on a range of engineering activities. You will take the opportunity to lead investigations and due diligence activities relating to innovation and research with the opportunity to pragmatically implement and embed outcomes into the Structures business and beyond for our stakeholders and customers. You will lead and manage various small project teams to deliver the work. To perform the role effectively you will demonstrate proactive and responsive leadership and team management as well as interface regularly with various colleagues, clients and stakeholders both within TMR, other government agencies and private industry. You will employ high level communication and project / program management skills as well as sound negotiation and organisational skills. So, why join us?
