Job Description AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in Melbourne is recognised as a national centre of excellence for mechanical engineering. Following significant contract awards in our Australia/New Zealand Water business line, we are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team, who has a passion for technical excellence and is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in a global organisation. What will a day in this role look like: As an experienced engineer, you will play a key role delivering mechanical designs as part of our integrated water infrastructure team across Australia and New Zealand. You will provide mechanical engineering design, advice, review and approval whilst maintaining the high standards of delivery excellence established by the team. Work on a diverse range of major national and international water infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, desalination, major pump station and pipelines, dams and headworks, and support our delivery of major transport, water, power and urban development projects. You will have opportunities to be mentored by leaders and industry experts in our business and will in turn mentor and develop emerging engineers to shape our future professionals.
