About the role Ventia are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic "Graduate Engineer - Maintenance Programs" to join our Infrastructure Services team within our Yarra Valley Water contract based out of our co-located office in Mitcham, Victoria. Reporting to the Manager Capital and Programmed Works, the primary purpose of the role is to plan, co-ordinate and safely deliver civil maintenance works that meet the required standards, are delivered on time and meet budgetary requirements while satisfying the needs of our client and Ventia. You'll be responsible for several key activities including: Planning, Programming and Resourcing for program delivery Ensure programmes and resources are tracked at all times Manage all allocated works from concept to completion Prepare and present progress reports to management on a regular basis Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service Prepare Project Estimates, resource profiles, and timelines Track program costs on a regular basis Prepare Purchase Orders and approve all invoices and ensure correct cost allocation to all projects About you A degree in Engineering A knowledge or eagerness to learn about Water and Sewer networks A team player with good computer software skills Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
