Our Opportunity To support our ongoing growth, PROK are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Bayswater, WA. Daily duties typically include. Provide technical and commercial support for conveyor pulleys to the Sales and Production teams. Evaluate customers’ requests and specify Prok equivalents. Expand and optimise existing estimating and design tools; develop new programs as required. Check production and sales drawings for accuracy and ensure they meet the intended design. Use of Prok software for the selection and design of conveyor pulleys to customer requirements. Manage projects for conveyor pulley design, manufacture and installation on new conveyor projects. The Right Person The ideal candidate for this position would have: A bachelor’s degree or diploma of engineering in a mechanical discipline A genuine passion for mechanical engineering and problem solving. High attentional to detail Excellent communication skills Full working rights in Australia Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Experience with 3D parametric software, Inventor preferred, and design analysis programs.
