In this role, you will ensure the core network and IT Infrastructure stays secure and run at peak performance. You'll be part a collaborative Infrastructure and Networking team in Melbourne, leveraging your technical expertise to manage hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, thrive on challenges, and enjoy learning new systems. Your core responsibilities will include safeguarding our IT systems and networks, implementing robust security measures, and continually improving their overall cybersecurity posture. You'll also play a key role in ensuring all IT efforts align with business needs, by deploying and managing hardware, software, and networks efficiently. Finally, you'll lend your expertise to planning the lifecycle management of various systems and services, including virtual and physical infrastructure, storage solutions, Windows & Linux servers, network & telecoms, and Microsoft services. To be successful in this role: Expertise in network management, routing, security, systems administration, and cloud technologies Experience in implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS. Strong working knowledge and understanding of network protocols and routing. Proven ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot core system services, with an advanced understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, PowerShell Scripting, and Microsoft 365 Suite.Managing Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and access controls. Proficiency in implementing security measures, such as firewall policies and IPSec tunnels. Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching Firewalls (Palo Alto) Understanding of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN is beneficial for troubleshooting and integration purposes.
