Intro Recruitment currently have opportunities at either Site or Project Engineer level, working FIFO on a 8/6 roster for a Tier 1 Contractor Intro Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of Australia's largest Tier 1 contractors who have delivered some of the most exciting infrastructure projects across Australia. You will be working on a bridge remediation project located on a mine site in Moranbah, working on a 8/6 roster flying out of Brisbane. You will need to have a background in civil/structural works. As the Site Engineer you will be; Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications. Managing work conducted on-site by subcontractors’ and suppliers. Implement prompt and safe corrective action on-site if required. Maintaining all relevant project document control and records. Be able to move across different disciplines when needed and as the project moves to different phases As the Project Engineer you will be; Interpreting, planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation. Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan. Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project. Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs. Work within the project team to assist with procurement activities. Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements. Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions. Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports. Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget About you Recognised degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction. Must have TMR / Road’s experience across either Pavements, Drainage, Earthworks or Structure disciplines, ideally Earthworks initially needed.
