Great opportunity for a talented problem solver and a creative thinker Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne location with good WFH flexibility About the role We're seeking a Software Engineer (Guidewire) to join our Insurance Technology team. The role involves collaborating with Tribe and Platform leaders, as well as the Engineering Practice, to design, develop, and implement improvements in our engineering capabilities. This includes systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support for Suncorp's Guidewire software. What you'll do Proficient delivery of technical projects using Agile Prioritise and drive Automation in delivery Participate in and support the rollout of continuous improvement initiatives Ensure solutions meet requirements and deliverables as specified Perform unit and integration testing on developed code What you'll bring 4 years of Software Engineering experience Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, and Guidewire system/business frameworks Experience in developing integration solutions including Batch Processes, Message Queues and Event Messaging is preferred. Proven track record of integrating ClaimCenter with external systems Experience in development frameworks (Java/Spring/Spring Boot), Gosu(for Guidewire), Cloud (AWS/Azure), Databases (SQL/ORM/JDBC), REST APIs and DevOps. Proven Testing skills including ATDD and BDD.
