See yourself in our team The Financial Crime Technology team is accountable to execute on Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) enhancements to processes, systems and skills to ensure the Groups goal of ensuring leading practice in disrupting financial crime. Their strategy is to deliver efficient and quality processes aimed at creating experiences that our customers love, to ensure increased confidence in managing financial crime. As a Senior Software engineer, you will be part of a squad working with our "Strategic Customer Lifecyle Management" Crew (domain). Your purpose will be to improve on the effectiveness of "Know Your Customer" (KYC) refresh processes, and KYC data quality & accuracy to improve our customers experience. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for solutioning, designing, deploying, and maintaining API's to provide data to our inhouse front-end customer system (CommSee). Working on the latest tech (.Net 8, React/Angular/AWS/docker), you'll be responsible for full-stack development, providing real time data to our front-line customer service, and call centre professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your solution design, development, and deployment skills which will directly impact our customers. We're interested in hearing from people who Are senior full-stack software engineers experienced in the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices (Solution Design, DevOps, Security etc.) Have expertise designing and building Core and Web API's Are confident in their solution design capabilities, stakeholder engagement and leading technical conversations in group forums Show the ability to collaborate, present ideas, influence, and challenge stakeholders. Actively are involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation, ready to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices Enjoy mentoring and developing more junior engineers Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; .NET Core/ Web APIs React / Angular Micro services and API Integration Build and hosting technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) Source code control tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity) Knowledgeable of public cloud engineering - AWS or Azure and Kafka/event-based architecture Experienced with DevOps, CI/CD and security best practices and principles.
