Your business: The Technology division delivers the Group's information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk. See yourself in our team: We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Engineer to join our Group Security Team, which is part of the wider Cyber Security Engineering practice. In your role as Senior Cyber Engineer, you will be required to work with internal customers throughout the Cyber Security division to automate processes and enable new functions. Working across a wide array of technologies and with varied teams, your job is to solve problems to promote sound decisions. Your responsibilities: You will be expected to perform the following responsibilities in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities. Understand our customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them. Lead or participate in the definition, execution and communication of ETL strategy and technical solution. Development of new tools and solutions via the Agile Lifecycle. Deploy, support and enhance delivered code. Build and manage systems, infrastructure and applications through automation. We are interested in people who: Have experience in security software engineering Python, bash and scripting experience Experience in performing code review and guiding best practice. Container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) Source code control tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) Deep knowledge and understanding of different hosting pattern covering IaaS (Infrastructure as a service), CaaS (Container as a Services), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a service) Enterprise experience in at least one of the following cloud hosting platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
