UI Software Engineer — Largs North, Port Adelaide Area

About the role The role of the User Interface Software Engineer will be a key member of our team and is responsible for specifying, designing, and developing innovative software, that shapes our unique product design solutions and enables us to satisfy our customers' expectations and requirements. The role primarily involves: Radio and PC application user interface requirements development. Software design, implementation, and maintenance. Product support and testing. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting in requirements analysis and systems architecture. Carrying out the design, implementation, testing and support of software and firmware according to specifications. Developing and support CI/CD processes and test automation. Providing accurate reporting information at all stages of the software development life cycle. Providing maintenance and support for existing products to customer service. About You This engaging opportunity will align with an experienced UI Software Engineer that is looking to develop their existing technical skills within our team based in Mawson Lakes. To be successful in your application you will have demonstrated experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, software development on embedded devices and/or PC applications and have a passion for delivering creative problem-solving engineering solutions. Additionally, you will be degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field. Below are the required skills: Extensive knowledge of programming languages including C, C++, Python and XML. Experience with Qt UI framework. Experience with modern software development methodologies incl. version control (Git), unit testing, and CI/CD. Practical knowledge of TCP/IP/UDP and networking principles. Experience with Web development / REST API is a plus.
