Seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to lead the design of temporary works solutions on major infrastructure and structural projects. They are currently seeking a Principal Temporary Works Engineer for a newly created role to deliver temporary works solutions across a range of major infrastructure and structural projects. The Role: As Principal Temporary Works Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Develop innovative temporary works solutions that meet project requirements while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Conduct site assessments and risk assessments to determine appropriate temporary works strategies. Collaborate with project managers, clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives. Prepare detailed temporary works designs, calculations and drawings using industry-standard software. Oversee the implementation and monitoring temporary works on-site. Provide support and guidance to site teams throughout the construction phase. The Successful Applicant: In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in temporary works design and engineering, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Extensive knowledge of temporary works principles, codes and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
