The APAC Industrial Product Engineering team is a key connection point between our APAC industrial sites and the development and production base in North America. APAC Product Engineers are required to both maintain existing products though remote/on-site diagnostic work and commission new products, which involves deploying, testing, and developing new commissioning tools. The product engineers can efficiently work with large amounts of data to process information and make correct conclusions in a timely manner. The team has a strong technical background in diagnosing complex electrical/network systems with heavy software content deployed in safety- and time-critical applications. These engineers are passionate about diagnostics and strong critical thinkers with great fluency in understanding technical system-level architecture and issues and provide a high level of support to the APAC Technical Operations and software/hardware developers. Learn how to debug systems and perform diagnostics on field failures both remotely - looking at data logged by the system - and directly in the workshop. Provide technical support to minimize downtime, through day-to-day coverage of internationally distributed field cases. Provide field support with a wide range of troubleshooting techniques including remote diagnosis. Recognize trends and patterns in field failures and provide feedback to the respective teams to drive future product improvements. Assist design engineers to ensure new issues are fully investigated and that countermeasures are put in place. Assist and support Design Engineers, Product Excellence, and MRB team members to perform further root cause analysis on field failures by component/subsystem owners where necessary. Evaluate design features/fixes and perform regional testing. Assist improving service diagnostic tooling and technical documentation at a software and hardware level. Recent graduate or final year with a bachelor's in electrical engineering or equivalent SQL and python experience Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills Understanding of power systems Understanding of electronics Capable of working in a fast-paced and always dynamic environment Proactive work mentality
