Some of your responsibilities will include: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to innovate, develop and deliver innovative analytic products and data visualisation tools for use in asset management, using a customer-oriented design process. This work involves: data management including extraction / transformation and loading. data visualisation through development of asset management dashboards that support data-driven investment decision making. engineering analysis of asset performance data, including engineering support and services to other units within the branch. Assist in the development and review of the annual state of the asset report and district tactical asset management plans, including data analysis, interrogation, and reporting. Prepare and provide training to regional/district staff on the techniques and models developed for sourcing, analysing, and reporting data for investment planning purposes. Support the Manager (Strategic Asset Management) in the provision of strategic- level asset management advice to stakeholders. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: Advanced skills (or a strong desire and aptitude to acquire skills) in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to develop user-friendly dashboards for data-driven decision making. Knowledge and experience of engineering principles, techniques, and methods to the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of road infrastructure projects. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to stimulate ideas and innovation, build enduring relationships, and maintain high standard of practice through governance and risk management. Experience in project management practices when delivering works to achieve desired business outcomes within given deadlines, scope, quality, cost, and stakeholder expectations. A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is acceptable for corporate membership of Engineers Australia. Class C Queensland Government or equivalent driving license.
