See yourself in our team Business Banking Technology is responsible for the world-leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank - from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive simplicity and better banking, an essential component of great customer service underpinning a strong emphasis on software development as a craft and the adoption of industry best engineering practices. You'll be hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the technical evolution of this system and execute on BB technology strategy. You will have the opportunity to stretch yourself in front-end engineering, microservices REST APIs development, data access layers and systems integration. You'll also be invited to join our regular engineering guilds and provide technical guidance to the junior members of the team. Are familiar with the full software development lifecycle with focus on excellent User Experience, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring. Have natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups. Can coach junior engineers, share knowledge to uplift and improve software development practices. Tech Skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team: Demonstrated experience developing applications using MS technologies - C# and .NET Core. Expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks - Angular or React. Sound knowledge of Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and public cloud engineering - AWS preferred. Excellent debugging skills with ability to solve complex technical issues involving multiple components.
