To help keep Queensland moving, we are actively recruiting for a Principal Engineer (Civil) who will project manage the delivery of individual projects from road infrastructure planning programs and provide technical expertise on transport network planning through effective leadership of other project managers on design, construction, maintenance projects and operations of road networks. Role requirements include:- Extensive experience in applying traffic and transport planning principles and leading individual projects.- Demonstrated experience in project management principals and methodology to achieve project outcomes.- Demonstrated experience in identifying appropriate mitigation strategies to overcome problems or obstacles relating to the delivery of transport planning projects through all phases of the project management model.- Demonstrated high standard of practice through governance and risk management.- Ability to successfully build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes. A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by Engineers Australia and Registration as Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) are mandatory for this role.
