Rubix is seeking for NV1 cleared Systems Engineer (Field Specialist Rubix is currently acting on behalf of a leading defence consultancy who have multiple opportunities for experienced Systems Engineer (Field Specialists) . The Systems Engineer Field Specialist role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to: The delivery and support of End User Computing and Desktop Virtualisation components of the client's platform Contributes to the writing of detailed designs and Technical Implementation Instructions Work closely with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to progress technical changes though the Defence change process Assist the Business analyst and Technical Writer to complete and/or review technical support artefacts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Any other tasks reasonably requested by the program A deep understanding of the following: Microsoft Products including ECM; Windows; SQL; Exchange; Active Directory Monitoring and System Management Infrastructure Storage Computer Hardware Desirable criteria: Have a thorough working knowledge of the transition processes to enable effective engagement with stakeholders’ support towers for the progression of the transition activities.
