This is a permanent full-time role based in SYDNEY (hybrid work model available) Enough about us What you'll do as a Streaming Ad Tech Engineer: Reporting into the Video Platform and Ad Tech Lead, this role will have sound technical understanding of native and web platforms to assist with the technical evaluation and implementation of ad technologies. The Streaming Ad Tech Engineer will be a key player in ensuring N10 OTT platform continues to provide a leading user experience. The candidate will be working with developers and product owners to communicate desired technical outcomes and issues as they arise. The Streaming Ad Tech Engineer will be participating in developer sessions and able to peer review solutions. Functions will also include: Manage ad products and drive advancements in new video and display ad technologies. Debug advertising issues on mobile, TV platforms, and closed systems. Guide software developers on ad product implementation using API/SDK documentations. Collaborate with tech teams using JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD deployment. Advocate for video and ad serving standard processes. Implement new ad configurations across digital channels. Ensure optimised video ad serving for Live and VOD content. Offer troubleshooting support for ad ops team. Support video and advertising operations during major events. What are we looking for in a Streaming Ad Tech Engineer: Core proficiency in native and web technologies (Kotlin, JS, Swift). Experience with Google Ad Manager and solving issues. Analytical approach for debugging using tools like Charles Proxy and Fiddler. Familiarity with OTT applications and platforms. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with MS Word and Excel. Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required: SQL experience BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc) Any software development and coding experience Why Paramount?
