Work options: On-Site We are seeking a dynamic Senior Cloud Engineer to join our ClearStar Program, a transformative multi-year initiative aimed at modernizing the Derivatives Clearing technology for our esteemed financial institution. As part of this crucial project, you will play a pivotal role in upgrading, re-platforming, and future-proofing our infrastructure, ensuring we meet public interest mandates and cater to a diverse market. Key Responsibilities: Drive cloud implementation and tooling within a large-scale simplification and modernization project. Develop and automate build and deployment activities with a focus on DevOps and SecOps. Manage and monitor cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Plan and execute cloud migration strategies for critical applications. Implement configuration management methodologies and branching/merge strategies. Ensure effective defect remediation and deliver comprehensive support documentation. Promote automation and reuse across all processes. Skills and Qualifications: 5 years of relevant experience in cloud deployment and systems management (AWS, GCP). Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Shell. Strong understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing, and Agile delivery methodologies. Experience with DevOps tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, Nexus/Artifactory, and GIT/Bitbucket. Expertise in configuration and deployment tools (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, or Puppet). Familiarity with build scripts (Maven, Ant) and source code control. Competency in continuous integration/delivery and infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code). A self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver projects from inception to completion. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Strong English communication skills. Experience with clearing platforms. Exposure to Docker.
