Junior Engineer — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

The Client HTC Global Services is a global provider of Information Technology and Business Process Services (BPS). Their client base spans several Global 2000 organizations in Australia and globally. They are now seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Junior Engineer to join the team in Melbourne. The Role This is a full-time role with an annual salary set at $75,000 plus superannuation. The Responsibilities Demonstrable understanding of vehicle electrical features/functions. Vehicle diagnostic and testing experience. Fault finding and analysis during test issues to help identify root causes of test failures. Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, ideas, and solutions. Liaise and collaborate with other engineers in the team. Diagnose and analyse testing failures to identify and resolve root causes in electrical systems and components Test and iterate electrical circuit designs on breadboards during the Operational Prototype Development stage Execute specific tests on SYNC systems, Engine Control Units, and Transmission Control Units to ensure proper functionality and communication Use advanced tools like National Instrument and dSpace labs for developing test cases, simulating environments, and analysing data Design and optimize electrical circuits and wiring harnesses for efficient and robust vehicle systems Explore and integrate the latest technologies in automotive electronics, such as ADAS and electric vehicle technology Maintain detailed documentation and reports on all stages of development and testing for reference and regulatory compliance The Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience in the automotive industry. At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience in Vehicle diagnostic and testing experience At least 2 years of demonstrable understanding of vehicle electrical feature/functions electrical engineering Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies Strong communication and organisational skills Possess critical and analytical thinking skills
