The Role The BG&E Civil team covers a variety of projects across the education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and transport sectors and include everything from upgrades of existing facilities to complete new builds with construction values often in excess of $100M. We are proud of our project portfolio which continues to include some of the most significant civil infrastructure projects in WA. We are now looking for a mid-level drainage engineer to join our established team and participate on a range of projects across the project life cycle from planning, detailed design, construction support to asset management. This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to continue the development of their knowledge and career on a range of projects under the guidance of a technically strong leadership team. What to expect day to day : Be part of a large discipline team with significant opportunities to develop Work with the guidance of Perth's leading civil engineering practitioners Contribute to the design of projects that leave a significant legacy for our community Guide graduate engineers in their career journey Participate in the project management activities About you You will be responsible for contributing to various projects, delivering innovative and technical advice and designs, and for serving as a key contact for clients. You will work on a broad range of projects for urban redevelopment, highways and rail, among others. As a professional engineer you will have: Bachelor of Engineering degree. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering Demonstrated experience in designing for urban infrastructure projects, preferably to Main Roads Western Australia design standards. The ability to work well within a team environment.
