Job Description The Opportunity We are currently looking for a hard-working, innovative and knowledgeable Project Engineer to join our Projects team on a 2 year fixed term contract. The Role As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for facilitating the safe delivery of third-party and pedestrian crossing projects by ensuring that works comply with relevant technical specifications and do not compromise Arc Infrastructure's operations, assets, maintenance activities, or commercial integrity. The main duties will be: Interfacing with external parties such as Main Roads WA, local governments, or private entities to provide technical advice and ensure third-party access to the railway corridor is in accordance with Arc’s safety and commercial requirements Coordinating internal resources to facilitate review of project submissions, including but not limited to engineering designs, safety documentation, construction methodology, and possession strategy Providing engineering support by developing technical requirements, reviewing designs, contributing to construction methodology and staging, and performing site inspections Delivering pedestrian crossing upgrades across the network, including developing scope, awarding contracts, and managing both consultants and contractors Assisting other project team members with tasks as required, and supporting the Senior Project Engineer and Project Lead with the delivery of major third-party projects Creating, reviewing, and improving project documents, frameworks, procedures, and standards Collaborating with the engineering team and other internal and external stakeholders to innovate, develop, and share technical knowledge About You It is preferred you have previous engineering experience and it is essential you have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or similar. You must have exceptional organisation skills and have a track record of being able to juggle multiple projects ranging in size and scope whilst maintaining clear and frequent communication with stakeholders. At times you will be required to complete project administration, so it’s important that you are willing to work on these tasks in order to support the overall project outcome.
