Mechanical Engineer — Grose Wold, Hawkesbury Area

This role sits in a major project within Defence and has great career progression and growth opportunities. We are currently looking for a NV1 Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This varied role is essential to the success of the business. An engineering background as well as experience in the Defence industry will ensure your success. What will I be doing day to day? Develop designs that are compliant with regulations, standards and AMTDU Quality and Design Assurance System Conduct engineering analysis including structural integrity, structural joints, restraint, shock and vibration Conduct V&V activities including participation in and development of artefacts for aerial delivery trial activities Provide advice on aerial delivery requirements Conduct task planning and updates Conduct communication with external stakeholders Conduct review of technical artefacts Contribute to ongoing continuous training and system improvements What sort of skills do I need? Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Experience in a Defence environment Demonstrated project integration experience Capacity for hands on examination and assessment of large and complex vehicles and structure. Experience with Military Design Organisation and with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations Strong communication skills Minimum NV1 security clearance What’s in it for me?
