Engineering Manager — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

You will work in a collaborative, team-based environment and participate in a range of activities that support and deliver the Structures program of work across all functional areas of the team. To perform the role effectively you will need to demonstrate sound leadership and team management ability as well as interface regularly with various colleagues, clients and stakeholders both within TMR and private industry.In the role of Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading, directing and managing a busy team of engineers and analysts to capture, use and analyse information related to the performance and state of structural assets. You will also be responsible for the implementation of BIM and other digital engineering initiatives within Structures particularly with the integration of Bridge Information System (BIS) and associated asset management toolsThis is a strategic role with a focus on Structures future state and includes planning, influencing, and implementing changes in the delivery, support, and operation of new and existing technology, systems and data (TSD) to support evidence-based and risk informed decision making. The role will require a range of skills including a strong industry awareness of technological developments, knowledge of best practice contemporary asset management systems, penchant for knowledge sharing and strong communication skills.
