This is suitable for an engineer looking to move into the estimating and bid side of the industry. You will work within a pre-existing team of estimating professionals and help support bids across Queensland and NSW. Based on the Gold Coast, and reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager; You’ll be trusted with: Developing competitive tenders, meeting all client specifications and project requirements Performing detailed cost estimates for civil and construction projects, including labour, materials, and equipment Reviewing contract terms to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies Managing the bid process from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders Preparing and managing technical documentation for pre-contract submissions, ensuring accuracy Communicating effectively with clients during the pre-contract phase, addressing queries and clarifications Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends Proposing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness Conducting risk assessments for potential projects, identifying and mitigating issues Collaborating with design, project management, and construction teams for smooth transition to project execution What's In Your Toolbox?
