Network Engineering opportunity across exciting globally regional project. Key Responsibilities: - Provide networking technical expertise for project delivery across the Asia-Pacific East (APAC-E) region - Assist and supervise partners and third parties in project delivery - Deliver customer-focused results and communicate effectively with Rio Tinto business units and management - Work within project deadlines and budgetary constraints - Follow formal project delivery methodologies - Develop and document migration and implementation plans - Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks (reporting, timesheets) - Maintain awareness and commitment to safe working practices Project specific duties: - Develop or review network design (high and detailed level) - Create bill of materials and labor estimates for project estimates - Plan transitions, cutovers, and change management - Conduct risk assessments and risk management for technical project elements - Install and configure network hardware and equipment (including firewalls) - Perform testing and commissioning of network solutions - Hand over projects to operations teams - Collaborate with server engineering teams across APAC-W and AMER regions Outcomes expected: - Complete assigned tasks on time, within budget, and meeting quality specifications - Address and resolve project issues effectively - Deliver projects according to design standards and strategy requirements - Active participation in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs
