Project Engineer - Facade — Canberra Region, Australian Capital Territory

About the role: Lendlease ACT are currently looking for a Project Engineer, with experience managing design, and delivery of building facade packages to work on an upcoming project in Canberra. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be a key leader in our on-site delivery team and will be responsible for resolving the detail design of the building facade, working with a team of project and site engineers, whilst managing subcontractors and service suppliers to deliver a successful construction project. This will involve developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, managing quality through to commissioning of the project. To be successful you will need: Be an Australian Citizen at the time of application. Hold a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one. A Construction Management or Engineering qualification (or other relevant degree). 7-10 years experience, managing facade design on large-scale building construction projects. Effective leadership capabilities and a passion for client focused outcomes, driving safety, quality, and sustainability. Experience engaging with internal, external, and client stakeholder groups, and demonstrating strong communications skills.
