The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Translink division, is offering internships in 2024-2025 for tertiary students completing their second last year of study in 2024, graduating end 2025. For this internship position, we are looking for students studying: civil or mechanical engineering. We have multiple internships on offer - there is a broad range of exciting opportunities. Internship Inclusions: - 18-month internship (2024-2025) as a casual employee- Minimum 30 days paid work experience in first six months, and minimum 60 days paid work experience in the second year of the 18-month program.- Assistance payment support, totalling $6,000- There may be opportunity for the intern to enter the 2026 TMR Graduate Program (permanent employment) subject to meeting certain conditions.
