Roles and Responsibilities Accountable for the delivery of uninterrupted end user desktop and mobility services. Accountable for the compliance of the MOE throughout customer’s virtual and physical desktop fleet. Accountable for the highest level of security throughout the MOE and applications portfolio. Responsible for the packaging, test plans, delivery, functional testing, and integration of all customer’s end user applications. Responsible for the EUC environment and overall performance of associated systems. Responsible for managing the design, development, communications, implementation, and post-support practices related to the Virtual, Physical, Mobile platforms and the applications within customer’s application portfolio. Responsible for the Configuration, maintenance and administration of System Centre Configurations Manager (SCCM). Responsible for creating, implement and administration of EUC group policy changes (Implementing and planning), OU structure changes and delegation. Responsible for creating, implement and administration of cloud management including Office 365, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) platforms. Contribute to the managing of customer’s IAM system to incorporate on premise and cloud-based apps, ongoing development, and maintenance of the IAM system. Responsible for identifying, evaluating and implementing improvements within the EUC and its associated technologies that ensure the uninterrupted delivery of EUC services to business users and support corporate developments. Responsible for engaging with VDI Administrators and existing change management to develop and enforce a MOE updates and changes for the purpose of scheduling quarterly corporate SOE revisions. Responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective library of EUC related procedures including documentation, development plans, road maps, building, testing, deployments and post-deployment processes. Contribute to managing EUC hardware refresh cycles to ensure that Hardware standards remains consistent and reliable. Responsible for providing third level technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting and training for the EUC environment. Responsible for coordinating support activities between customer and vendors regarding technical issues related to the End User Compute Environment. Contribute to the ITS functionality by assisting and relieving the ITS support personal as required Requirements Essential knowledge, skills and experience At least 5 years of commercial experience in an Application Administrator or MOE Engineer capacity coupled with professional qualifications. Microsoft certification - MCP, MCTS, MCSA/MCSE or equivalent technical qualification. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise products such as Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 , Windows 10, Active Directory, Group policy, DNS and DHCP. Proven experience and success with EUC design and implementation including the decision making processes involved throughout. Strong Experience in configuring software packages for corporate wide deployments using software delivery systems. Extensive knowledge of software delivery and image deployment systems (i.e. SCCM and VMware Horizon). 1st-3rd level troubleshooting experience in a Windows Environment. Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (i.e. Office 365). Extensive knowledge of Managed Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) systems. Ability to communicate with other IT employees and third-party vendors at a technical level. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language. Ability to identify future business requirements and deliver innovative design concepts. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Highly self-motivated and directed, with integral attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation.
