We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering groundbreaking electrolysis products to the market. This position will assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating projects related to research, development, prototyping and commercialisation of our hydrogen production systems. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and documenting product development plans, scheduling tasks, planning, forecasting coordinating resources, and ensuring successful project execution. You will need to have experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera and possess a strong background in R&D, productisation, and/or the energy sector. This role will NOT be suitable for project engineers who have solely worked in the mining or oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities Preparing and documenting stage gate documentation, product development plans, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects including preparation of interim update reports and presentations to management. Formulating project parameters as per the project owner's requirements and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team. Creating and maintaining a project team dashboard to ensure that all members of the team have transparent access to schedules, plans, and reporting on the status of each project. Cooperating and communicating with the wider Manufacturing Team and other project participants and collaborating with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability. Coordinating the team's procurement activities. Developing specifications and scopes of work for the project's needed equipment. Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications. Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Project Engineering or a related field. Prior experience preferably in the energy, manufacturing, or research and development industries. Experience with electrolysis or pressure equipment highly regarded. Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in collaboration with other like-minded team members and adjacent project teams (also delivering a variation of the system). The ability to work with multiple discipline projects. Excellent project management and supervision skills. Highly experienced in MS Project and MS products.
