Your New Role: You'll leverage cutting-edge technologies to transform IT service delivery. This will cover both IT service management and systems engineering. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, user satisfaction and security within a leading insurance company. This role would suit a strong Azure Senior Systems Engineer looking to step up or a Service Delivery Manager who has a strong Azure technical background. You'll: Lead the consolidation of IT infrastructure services, focusing on Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure) and the seamless integration and management of the company's core platform (Guidewire InsuranceSuite) on Azure; Champion and enhance the self-serve capabilities for Microsoft 365, ensuring a robust and user-friendly experience; Oversee IT Service Desk and Desktop Support (2-3 direct reports), maintaining high-performance service support functions and effective Incident, Request, Change, and Escalation processes; Drive service improvement initiatives, closely monitoring service delivery metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement; and Ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of Microsoft Cloud technologies, working closely with vendors and internal teams. Your Skills and Experience: Ideally, you'll have: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Cloud technologies; Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management and systems engineering, with specific experience managing Microsoft Azure environments; Expertise in ITIL service management practices and systems administration; Experience with consolidation and standardisation work on Azure highly regarded; Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in driving technology adoption and service excellence; and Clear and articulate communication skills, strong time management skills and high attention to detail.
