Senior Automation Test Engineer, C# and Specflow — Sydney CBD, Sydney

This is the most important and primary function of this role; you will be responsible for building the test automation framework in C# and Specflow. Working within a fast pace and demanding FinTech you will be responsible for in-depth analysis of requirements, test scope, approach and planning and providing test estimates. The successful person will ensure the required test governance is applied across the entire project. Drive standards and best practices and champion continuous improvement across the entire SDLC. You will also be designing Test Reporting which provide a dynamic status on automation. Technical skills: Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks in .NET/ C#. Good understanding of BDD and Specflow implementations for complex systems. Good understanding of unit test framework e.g. NUnit, XUnit, MSTest. Good understanding of testing APIs and backend applications. Good understanding of SQL and databases and experience in working with multiple databases and extensive data. Experience in test environment and test data setup. Experience with any CI/CD frameworks (preferably Gitlab/Jenkins). Experience with source control preferably Git/Bitbucket. Worked in an environment with a structured testing process and have experience creating test artefacts. Demonstrated track record of delivering projects through to completion, whatever challenges arise. Extensive experience with test execution and reporting.
