Talented Senior Data Engineer / Applications Developer, contributing to the design and implementation of a new data solution - Data Warehouse. Are you a skilled Data Engineer/Developer looking for an exciting opportunity in the energy sector? Join our client’s dynamic project team and be part of a transformation with significant impact 12 month contract position. Excellent day rate. Located right here in Brisbane’s CBD. Hybrid working arrangement. As the sole technical member in a team of 3-4, you'll collaborate closely with a Senior Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Business Analyst to drive project success. (within a greater IT team of 80). Develop and maintain data warehouse with AWS technologies, specifically moving from Dynamo to Lambda function. Prior experience with Node or Python will be needed to drive this solution – coding skills will be needed for a significant part of this transformation. Experience we are looking for: Minimum of 5 years experience in Data Engineering Previous experience in data warehouse development Proficiency in AWS technologies, particularly Dynamo and Lambda Strong coding skills in either Node or Python Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Familiarity with an Agile way of working Some Perks: Hybrid working environment with CBD location Work with a leader in technology Does this sound like you?
