Geotechnical Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

Our client is a major player in the piling and foundations industry in Sydney. We are currently recruiting an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with This is an excellent opportunity in Sydney for a Geotechnical Engineer who has 3-5 years of experience. The role is permanent and fulltime. The focus of this role will be on a wide variety of geotechnical design (retaining walls and piling (CFA, Bored Pier, Screw, Sheet, Segmental Casing, Anchoring and Shotcrete). As part of the growing geotechnical team you will be working in the office, but some field work may be required at times. You will be part of an expanding and dynamic engineering team that contributes to the overall success of the business, and you will be involved in a large range of exciting projects. These include servicing local councils, commercial clients and major transport infrastructure. As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to grow and further develop within your career and receive training and mentoring from the Senior engineers and Project Management team. We are looking for the following: Prior experience on piling and foundations related projects on contractor side Geotechnical Investigations including planning and completing site works, drafting clear and concise geotechnical reports under supervision, Some experience in project management Motivated to problem solve an driven to provide proactive geotechnical support to clients from concept to final delivery The Successful candidate should have: Degree level qualification in Geotechnical / Civil engineering, Geology or similar Minimum of 3 years Geotechnical investigations, site supervision and inspection experience Ability to multitask across a range of earth science related fields High efficiency and capacity to work unsupervised Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Current drivers license and ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug screening For any questions or queries, please contact Georgina on 0406 807 751 or email your resume to georgina.lakiacrworld.com.
