Data Engineer for this initial 6 month contract in Melbourne (hybrid) to join a new projectPower BI, SSRS, MS SQL Server We are recruiting a Data Engineer for this initial 6 month contract in Melbourne (hybrid) to join a new project. You will be working from legacy systems to recreate reports in a new system. Remove dependencies on Local DWH and develop Power BI reports from Custom SQL server DWH. To succeed in this role you will need expertise in: Developing SQL Queries for MS SQL Server Proven experience with data extraction, cleansing and migration primarily using SQL Server Design, optimize, and maintain database structures to meet performance and scalability requirements. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data manipulation and analysis. Understand data Model, table, and find patterns from databases. Extensive experience with developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and SSRS. Create Reports using SSRS and Power BI from analysing existing reports and requirements given by the team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good Documentation skills. Apply now to be part of this new client based project.
